Delivery Policy

At Metfab, we take great care in delivering quality steel fabricated products directly to your site. Due to the size and nature of our products, all deliveries are handled in-house to ensure safe handling and transport.

Delivery Zones & Rates

Our delivery fees are calculated based on the distance from our workshop in Bayswater, Victoria:

  • Within 10km – $55 flat rate
  • Within 20km – $88 flat rate
  • Within 30km – $110 flat rate
  • Within 40km – $150 flat rate
  • Over 40km – Custom delivery pricing applies (please contact us)

Free Delivery Offer
 Orders over $1,100 (excluding delivery charges) qualify for free delivery within our 40km service area.

Delivery Process

  • After placing your order, a member of the Metfab team will contact you within 1–2 business days to confirm delivery details.
  • Deliveries are scheduled Monday to Friday, during standard business hours.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is present on-site to receive and unload the delivery.
  • Please ensure there is suitable access for trucks and a safe area for unloading. If additional equipment (such as a crane or forklift) is required, please advise us in advance. Additional fees may apply.

If your delivery address is outside our standard 40km service zone, please contact us before ordering to arrange a custom delivery solution.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Due to the custom-built and heavy-duty nature of our steel products, returns are limited to cases involving incorrect or damaged goods.

Returns Eligibility

  • Returns are only accepted if the item is incorrect or arrives damaged.
  • You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery if there is an issue with your order.
  • Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original condition to be eligible for return.

Refunds

  • Once a return is approved, a refund will be processed to your original payment method or offered as store credit.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.
  • Delivery fees are non-refundable unless the issue was due to an error on our part.
